How did you get started?

Cobb, Fendley & Associates, Inc. (CobbFendley) was founded on April 1, 1980, by John “Odis” Cobb and William Fendley in Houston, Texas. With a shared vision of delivering high-quality civil engineering and surveying services, the company was built on the core values of collaboration, commitment, and community. Over the years, CobbFendley has grown from a small local firm into a respected, multidisciplinary organization with offices across the U.S., serving both public and private sector clients.

CobbFendley’s mission is to collaborate with employees and clients to provide infrastructure solutions that further our commitment to growth in the community. “We Collaborate. We Commit. We Build Communities”.

CobbFendley recently celebrated its 45th anniversary, reflecting a legacy of engineering excellence and community impact. We were once again named to the ENR Top 500 Design Firms list and earned the prestigious Zweig Group Trifecta Award, recognizing our excellence in growth, marketing, and workplace culture. With continued expansion across 20 offices and 17 disciplines, we have strengthened our leadership structure to support internal development and long-term success.
