How did you get started?
O’Neil has been around for nearly 120 years, and we’re still growing, evolving, and finding new ways to support our customers. Since our founding in 1908, we’ve gone from a traditional commercial printer to an employee-owned company leading the way in print and digital communications. We describe ourselves as tech-leaning, but at our core, we’re a people-first business that values the human touch, especially when it comes to great design. That’s why we recently acquired Rule29, a creative agency known for its artistic vision and dedication to craft. They’re now part of our team, helping bring ideas to life in new and meaningful ways.
What is the company's mission or purpose?
Our mission is to deliver exceptional experiences and products by simply saying yes to our customers' needs. We make that yes possible through outstanding service and the highest quality print and digital communications. Every day, we work toward that goal with the dedication of our employee-owners across the business — from customer service and machine technicians to our Rule29 designers, leadership, and the rest of the team. In the long term, we envision leading the nation in premier print and marketing solutions through tailored approaches guided by a passion for meaningful connections and results-driven success.
What makes O’Neil Printing unique and noteworthy?
We would have to say it’s our commitment to innovation and craftsmanship. Over the years, that dedication has earned us some great recognition, like Gold and Silver Awards from Sappi Fine Paper North America for book printing, and the IMPACT Award from the Phoenix Chamber of Commerce for our sustainability efforts. But what really sets us apart is the trust we've built with our clients. The long-term relationships, the shared wins, the confidence they place in us, that's what we’re most proud of. As we near our 120th anniversary, we’re still pushing boundaries and finding new ways to deliver outstanding experiences. For us, it’s never just about printing. It’s about making a real impact, one project and one relationship at a time.
Any recent milestones/accolades to share about you or your company?
O’Neil has reached many meaningful milestones over the years, but a few recent highlights stand out. In mid-2025, we expanded our business by welcoming Printing Solutions into the O’Neil family. This strategic acquisition broadened our footprint and strengthened our ability to deliver customized print and marketing solutions for our clients. Moves like this reflect our belief that true partnership and innovation are key to creating work that lasts.
We’re also incredibly proud of the Wheels4Water project, led by our Rule29 team. It raised over $1 million to provide clean water for life to more than 20,000 people in Africa. It’s a powerful example of our belief that when purpose and creativity come together, they can make a real difference.
